History Villa in Montefalcone - Tuscany

"A Legacy of Art and Nobility: The Rich History of Villa Lippo"

Ancient chronicles report that in the 14th century, the Corte Lippo farmhouse, the noble residence now known as Villa Lippo, was owned by Memmo di Filippuccio, known as “Lippo,” a painter of Sienese origin and father of the famous painter Memmi Lippo. Built in the 13th century, Villa Lippo later became the property of the Dell’Osso Princes of Lucca in the early 20th century, used as their countryside residence. Today, under the ownership of Flaherty Family,  the villa has been meticulously restored, respecting its historical roots while adding a touch of Art Nouveau style.
